Welcome to SecureDoc (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in our iOS application.

SecureDoc is a document management application that operates with a privacy-first approach. We do not collect, store, or share your personal information.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be transparent: SecureDoc does not collect any personal information from users. This includes:

No names, email addresses, or contact information
No location data
No device identifiers
No usage analytics or tracking
No crash reports containing personal data
No cookies or similar tracking technologies

3. Data Storage

SecureDoc uses local storage on your device to save your documents and app preferences. This data:

Remains exclusively on your device
Is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties
Is protected by iOS system security features
Is deleted when you uninstall the app

4. Photo Gallery Access

SecureDoc requests access to your photo gallery solely to allow you to:

Select photos to attach to your documents
Save documents as images to your photo library

We do not upload, analyze, or share any photos you access through the app. All photo processing happens locally on your device.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

SecureDoc offers both one-time purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Please note:

All payment processing is handled by Apple
We do not have access to your payment information
Your subscription is managed through your Apple ID
You can cancel subscriptions at any time through your App Store account settings

6. Third-Party Services

SecureDoc does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use:

Google Analytics or similar services
Facebook Pixel or other advertising trackers
Crash reporting services that collect personal data

7. Children’s Privacy

SecureDoc is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used our app, please contact us.

8. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, CalOPPA)

Since we do not collect personal information, there is no data for us to provide, modify, or delete. However, you have full control over:

All documents stored locally on your device
Photo gallery permissions (can be revoked in iOS Settings)
Your subscription status (managed through Apple)

For California Residents (CCPA/CalOPPA):

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information because we don’t collect it in the first place.

For EU Residents (GDPR):

As we do not process any personal data, GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, etc.) do not apply. All your data remains under your control on your device.

9. Data Security

While we don’t collect data, we take security seriously:

All data is stored locally using iOS secure storage mechanisms
We leverage iOS system-level encryption
No data is transmitted over the internet

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app and on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
